And that’s just in the last 18 months.
At least 66 men and women have been arrested and charged with affiliating with an ISIS or ISIS-inspired terror plot. These people, Daily Mail reveals, were to be committed on American soil.
The 66 people include men, women, some of which were refugees.
Earlier today, the House of Representatives voted and passed its Syrian refugees bill, a bill that would stop Syrian and Iraqi refugees from entering the country unless they pass rigorous background testing.
As noted by others, the U.S. Army major and psychiatrist Nidal Hassan was also fully vetted. Hassan brutally murdered 13 and wounded 30 at Fort Hood military base in Texas. He underwent what many would describe as an extremely stringent evaluation and vetting process as he moved up the ranks of the U.S. military.
If we aren’t able to properly identify a threat amongst our own citizens and military, how can we be expected to do the same for refugees?
