Raheel Raza, a Sunni Muslim and president of Muslims Facing Tomorrow narrates an excellent video and survey of the opinions of Muslims abroad.
In order for us to have an honest discussion about the threats Americans face today, topics like the rise in Islamic extremism must be able to be discussed without emotion and without bias. Raheel Raza takes a look at the statistics and demographics of Muslims worldwide and presents them in this video produced by The Clarion Project.
“By the Numbers is an honest and open discussion about Muslim opinions and demographics. Narrated by Raheel Raza, president of Muslims Facing Tomorrow, this short film is about the acceptance that radical Islam is a bigger problem than most politically correct governments and individuals are ready to admit. Is ISIS, the Islamic State, trying to penetrate the U.S. with the refugee influx? Are Muslims radicalized on U.S. soil? Are organizations such as CAIR, who purport to represent American Muslims accepting and liberal or radicalized with links to terror organizations?”
Raza argues that groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), and even the liberal American media seek to bury any attempts made to have an open conversation about Islam. Stifling the debate with claims of racism is a technique often used. A perfect example of the liberal media’s tactics in action was given on Real Time with Bill Maher where he and guests debate radical Islam with Ben Affleck.
One of the key points Raza makes in the video is the large number of Muslim fundamentalists. While fundamentalist Muslims don’t work to organize terror, finance terror, or overthrow governments, the beliefs of fundamentalists alone are what many of us would consider “radical.” This is something that must be discussed.
While you can’t say that political correctness is costing innocent victims of terrorism their lives, it is clear that groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR serve to end any national discussion about this growing international threat.
