Musician and vocal NRA advocate Ted Nugent took to Facebook this afternoon with a photo and post depicting who is supposedly “really behind gun control.”
The photo was a collage of various gun control advocates with each of their head shots marked with a flag of Israel. The collage contained pictures of Mayor Bloomberg, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Sen. Chuck Schumer, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel, among other politicians and gun control activists.
With the photo, Nugent wrote the following:
“Know these punks. They hate freedom, they hate good over evil, they would deny us the basic human right to self defense & to KEEP & BEAR ARMS while many of them have tax paid hired ARMED security! Know them well. Tell every1 you know how evil they are. Let us raise maximum hell to shut them down!”
There is no need for this type of hate-fueled garbage. The fact that these men and women in the photos are of Jewish heritage has nothing to do with being pro or anti-gun. One is just as likely, if not more so, to find gentile anti-gun advocates. Because the majority of Jews in America are registered democrats, one is more likely to find a Jewish American or politician in favor of gun control. That’s anything but conspiratorial!
Nugent’s pathetic post only serves to single these men and women out for their religion when the real common denominator here is their progressive, big government policies. This is a step back for freedom-loving conservatives.
